The Civil and State Flag of Tyvic was first designed in the 1730's as a simplified variant of the Traditional Banner of Tyvic. In 1872 S.R. the banner was officially declared an acceptable Civil Flag which could be flown as an appropriate symbol of nationalism. As of 1919 S.R., this design now functions as the official State and Civil flag. Officially, it is regarded as a banner of arms due to it depicting the full coat of arms of Tyvic.

The War Flag is flown by Empyrian military forces in times of war. It depicts two discs, the smaller representative of the white moon (of which a icon of The Stallion lies stamped) and larger one of the known lands. The twin baqyn (axes) in saltire guarding the black disc symbolise the wilful act of protecting the land from destruction.

The Flag of Eastern Empyria is the unofficial "secondary" flag used throughout Eastern Tyvic. Designed in 1961 S.R., the flag has seen a gradual rise in popularity across the region as a symbol of the province’s unique, eastern-influenced culture. The flag is also a symbol of Emerian self-determination, and is toted by eastern capitalists desperate to find a justification for their desires to split from the rest of the Empire and the archaic rule of the Emperor. Elsewhere, the flag has only really gained popularity by fascists and other right-wing Vuscovi nationalist groups, who commonly desecrate it during demonstrations.

The Traditional Banner was once the banner of the Principality of Voskrensenka before the rise of Yaroslav of the Red Spear, where it was then made the official Flag of the Vuscovi Tsardom, and later the Vuscovi Empire, until 1100 S.R.. After the concession of Vasque, the banner continued as the official State and Civil flag of the Empire; from then on commonly, but unofficially, named Tyvic. By 1919 S.R., the banner had been officially declared as a traditional banner for cultural purposes only, with all edifices of state and immediate demonstrations of nationalism now using the modern Civil and State Flag.

Both the Civil and State Ensign and War Ensign are identical to their flag variants, however are decorated in purple and aquamarine/pale green instead of dark blue and purple respectively, ensuring visibility at sea.
